My friend and colleague John Baldoni was kind enough to invite onto his LinkedIn LIVE interview show GRACE Under Pressure. John is a world-renowned executive coach and leadership expert. We talked about the critical role effective communication plays in successful leadership and what I have learned after more than 30 years as a speechwriter. I also got to talk about my latest novel, Far Out Man.
John teaches leaders to use GRACE as a catalyst for positive change, turning it into an acronym:

Energy, the spirt that catalyzes people
When John asked me for an example of GRACE in my life, I immediately thought of my most famous speechwriting client, Bill Ford. Bill has worked for decades to make Ford Motor Company economically, environmentally and socially sustainable – a company that not only offers great products and services but helps build a better world. With the company’s strong and successful move into electric vehicles Bill’s long-held vision is becoming a reality.
